Walleye fishing report 5/15/2019
IT'S WALLEYE TIME !!
Our night time walleye trips started a little slower than usual this year but i expect next week to be very good as the oswego river will recede in flow and clear up from debris. things will really pick up as the walleye back down out of the river into the harbor to feed ! i have a few evenings available and a few dates left for Oneida Lake walleye so get them while they last !

THAT'S A WRAP !!!! NOW ITS WALLEYE TIME .
Our 2019 spring steelhead season is over ! Damn releases with high flows have given the last of our steelhead a free ride back to lake Ontario. It overall was a good spring ... there were slow days, but the good days out numbered the slower ones . All in all we had a great time with everyone on the boats .

Salmon River Fishing Report 04/16/19
Steelhead fishing has been a grind the last few trips . WINTER JUST WON'T LET GO HERE IN PULASKI ! We're working every nook and cranny for our bites and fish. Constantly changing baits and plugs has been the key to the fish we are bringing to the boat.
Water levels late Saturday night was raised to 5,000 cfs and forced us to cancel three days worth of trips . SAFETY IS ALWAYS OUR PRIORITY ! Yesterday the power cut back the water to 2,200 cfs and we're back on schedule ! fishing will drastically become better as each day goes by . The spawn is happening and the steelhead should be feeding much more aggressively !!
I currently have May 8,9 and 13th still available for this springs steelhead run ! With how long winter has stayed here i truly predict these days to be some of the best steelhead fishing of 2019 !! We are steelhead fishing ! this falls steelheading has been pretty steady! One day you land a good amount and the next day can be a totally different story ! Egg sacks have been the " go to" bait along with backtrolling plugs . with our current high water right now i predict a better than average bite over the next two weeks as newer fish enter our river system !!

Definitely not huge numbers of salmon , but f you put some walking and legwork in, you may just be surprised with a very nice early season king salmon ! With the cold spring and high water we were able to fish steelhead this spring until May 25th ! This made for some of the most solid numbers and quality I've ever seen return into the salmon river and surrounding tribs !! This spring our night time monster walleye trips did not disappoint either! Plenty of giant Lake Ontario " EyEs" came over the rail for those who tried ! As usual Oneida Lake was very good to us this year ! The jigging bite was off the hook and every day produced good quantities of great eating walleyes. We did have a few days lost due to some funky weather but overall this year was hard to beat. FISHING REPORT 10-7-2015
Salmon fishing this season has been up and down inside the salmon river !!!! some days ok some days slow and this is why I choose to fish at night in the driftboat outside of the salmon river estuary !!!!!! As you can see it PRODUCES . The "night bite " has been consistent with a few fish hitting he boat almost every night . there is rain in our forecast and that may be a GAME CHANGER . Once the fish decide to make their move into the river so will I . but as of right now the NIGHT BITE is the ticket to landing one of these big kings . please keep in mind that I have some openings for this falls steelhead run so if you want to get in on the action please call sooner than later !!!!!!!! 484-239-9399 here are just a few pictures from the past few evenings out fishing !!!!!

Between the extreme cold and multiple outdoor shows I have been attending we haven't been on the water in the last few weeks . Reports have been that water is lower, clear and icy !! with this in mind , our spring fishing is shaping up to be just as great as last years !! I will be booking into the first two weeks of may for the 2015 spring steelhead season. dates are booking fast for march and April so get your days while the last !!!!

steelhead fishing so far this year has been quite trying . one day is good then the next has been slow..... anyone who says otherwise is wrong . there has been a lack of consistency this year the key has ben being on the water every day and continue to be dialed in on the fish !!! the best consistent bite has been on both beads and blue goo egg sacks !!!!!

sorry for the lack of reports but I've been on the water everyday !! Salmon season has finally come to an end and its been one of the toughest seasons most of us guides have ever seen . Myself and my clients were fortunate enough to consistently bring fish to the nest almost every trip ...... With the will to adapt and venture off to different rivers and tributaries I had the ability to have a strong season with many of our clients returning home with great memories and full coolers of fish!! I want to again thank all of our customers who booked a fishing adventure, and to the guides that worked with me this past salmon season.
on the flip side of things STEELHEAD FISHING IS IN FULL SWING !!!!!! we have switched over all our tackle and are in search of these silver bullets of the fall !!!!! Fish have been constantly taken on both trout beads and egg sacks with traditional olors working the best

STEELHEAD FISHING HAS BEEN INCREDIBLE !!!!!
Top producers are egg sacks , trout beads and pink worms . Very nice consistent catches are being brought to the net each day !!!! Great steelhead Fishing will continue until early may this year !! April 27 & 28 just opened up and is available to the first person who wants to fish those days !!!

Steelhead fishing has been consistent with decent numbers of fish being landed and hooked each day !!! We are seeing some very large fish coming to the net this year !! Things are on a great track this year with water flow !! typical baits include egg sacks, power worms and backtrolling !!!

I HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GREAT HOLIDAY AND HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!
Winter fishing has been brutal this year .... lots of snow .... wind ..... and frigid temps !! those who have been out have had consistent success as long as you can bare the temps below zero in the morning ..... I am expecting very good fishing come February in hopes we see better temps during the day !! With the large amount of snow we are seeing so far this winter I am expecting a phenomenal spring steelhead season !!!
The outdoor shows will be underway in about 2 weeks . I'll be at the Early Bird Outdoor Expo in Bloomsburg PA on January 23,24,25 & 26 and also at the Lehigh Valley Sportsman Show on February 28 through March 2. sorry for the lack of reports but I've been fishing every day .
first off, I want to thank everyone for a phenomenal salmon season !! It started and ended with a epic runs of kings and cohos !!!!!! If you fished with me this past season and want in again next year call me to lock in your dates !!!!! the 2014 season is already booking up !!!!
we are now in full swing for steelhead and brown trout !!!! steelhead fishing has been ok but will only get better as we come into December ! there are still dates available for late Nov and Dec which are prime time !!! beads and egg sacks have been the key when fishing the river for them !!
Brown trout fishing has been unreal !!!! if your looking for the brown trout of a lifetime the time is now !!!!!!! I still have dates available for an experience of a life time catching 10+ lb brown trout on light gear. the brown fishing will last only 2 or 3 more weeks so now's the time to get in on the action !!!!!!!!!!!

Night fishing for king and coho salmon has been good overall with steady catches coming to the net nightly. Sitting with eggs or backtrolling spoons has been producing the best . Lat night (9-17-2013) Don and his son tyler (aka kyle) has their limits by 12am !

Good pushes of king salmon are working up the river now ! here is a picture from Tuesday . Cameron from Canada was pleased with a steady movement of fish . the water is up and the boat is ready to go !!

with high water flows i have been limited with time on the water . fishing has been great before the water came up and will be phenominal when the water recedes. beads , egg sacks and backtrolling have all been producing . here are a few pics from the last few trips . next report will be soon to come !
Fishing Report 04-07-2013
Steelhead fishing continues to be steady with good numbers of fish in the rivers and streams. beads under floats continues to be the best bait of choice followed by eggs sacks of various colors ! there are still a good mix of both chrome & spawing fish to be found throughout the river. water level is at 500cfs wich makes for good drifting cconditions. There are a few days open and available in april if you want to come up and catch some serious trout !!!!! I CAN EASILY SEE THIS YEARS STEELHEAD FISHING LAST UNTIL MID-MAY !!!!!!!!!!

water is back down to 500cfs but the fishing has been turning on ! fish are starting to show up on the gravel areas and still holding in the deep slower runs as well. there is both a mix of fresh chromers/ spawning fish & dropbacks throughout the entire river. Beads has been the ticket taking most fish lately. here are a few pictures from over the last few days ! call now to book your april trip ! not many days left to get in on the action ! 484-239-9399

Fishing has been a little tougher the last few days but should pick up very shortly. Beads and backtrolling have been the key to keep the action steady !! water remains at 900 cfs for now ! here are some pics !

Steelhead fishing has been great one day and slower the next day. They seem to be in the pre-spawn funky mood . the water in the river has cleared up nicely. beads under floats has been producing the best along with backtrolling lures with the drift boat. here are some pics from the last few days
